I can’t IMAGINE trying to date as a celebrity. Especially when you get as much attention as Jennifer Aniston. But what is she supposed to do: stay inside her house? ‘The Switch’ star was spotted out with another guy last night, but she’s been linked to him before: Chris Gartin, according to E! News.

Jen and Chris enjoyed a three-hour dinner at Madeo, where onlookers tell us they very much looked like a couple.

“They were on a date,” says a fellow diner. “She was all cozied up to him and they were talking closely and laughing.”

Our source says the two arrived at about 7:30 p.m. and sat at a table secluded from the main dining area. When they left around 10:30 p.m., our source says the two covered themselves with a sheet in their chauffeured car to avoid the snaps of the 15-plus paparazzi waiting outside.

Chris, if you recall, is the ex-husband of one of Jennifer’s friends. Her friends’ relatives complained to the press (in Australia, where they live) about the relationship.

Well, eventually I’m sure we’ll know who Jennifer is dating (since she can’t really keep it a secret if things get serious).

Talk about a terrible position to be in. Mel B (aka Melanie Brown, formerly Scary Spice) has a three-year-old daughter named Angel with Eddie Murphy (DNA tests proved he was, indeed, the biological father), but she admits it was tough before the test results came back.

“I had to keep my head down – I had no choice but to just carry on with everything. It brings up all that again and all that hurt I went through by myself and pregnant.

“I had to move to the beach, I had paparazzi following me everywhere, I had people calling me a gold digger and saying that I got pregnant on purpose. It was a horrible time so I had to make sure I wasn’t frustrated by what everyone was saying and forget what actually went on.”

Mel also said that, given the way Eddie was acting during her pregnancy, she didn’t have much expectations.

“Angel is three and I didn’t expect her real biological father to pop back into her life. I think, in my mind, I fought so hard for justice at the very beginning of my pregnancy. I was hanging my head in shame because everyone was like, ‘Is that really the father?’ but I knew what I knew.

“Do I really want to be back on a red carpet entertaining everyone else’s world like, ‘Ooh, Eddie’s back in our life – we’re one big happy family’ “

So does this mean Eddie has become involved with Angel? Maybe we have to watch Mel’s new reality TV show to find out. Do you think you’ll tune in?

I think Kylie Minogue certainly made a video that’s going to get people talking. Those guys are some nice eye candy, that’s for sure

Are you a fan?

I really don’t know about this one, but it doesn’t sound outside the realm of possibility, so I’ll pass it along. A paparazzo is claiming he witnessed Lindsay Lohan hit a woman pushing a stroller, according to TMZ.

Jaime tells us he spotted Lindsay in her Maserati pulling out of her apartment building, then running a red light and making a left, right into the stroller.

Jaime says it was “full impact … It was a major hit.” Jaime tells us the bumper struck the nanny in the leg and hit the stroller “in the middle, knocking 3 of the 4 wheels in the air.”

Jaime says the baby was crying. We asked Jaime about the video his friend shot seconds after the alleged incident — in which the nanny is strolling along, seemingly unaffected. He said, “She was in shock and Hispanic so she was scared.”

No police report has been filed. As for why Jaime didn’t call the cops, he said, “I should have. I’m not sure. I didn’t want to get involved.”

IF this is true, then what sounds more likely is that Lindsay “clipped” them, since it would seem that hitting a woman and stroller with a car full-on would cause some bodily harm.

This seems so uncalled for! In an interview, rocker Chris Robinson (and ex-husband of actress Kate Hudson) singled out country music superstar Taylor Swift.

“I find it embarrassing that adults are like, ‘Taylor Swift is very talented.’ She’s not. She might be cute, but she’s horrible,” he says.

Chris called himself a “musical snob,” but apparently what he dislikes are “packaged acts,” which Taylor is.

“They have stylists who dress them, they make records with producers who play a chord into the computer and it all comes out the same…When you have computers doing it all for you…there’s no individuality,” he says. “Singing isn’t always about being on key; it’s about emotionality.”

Chris obviously hasn’t spoken to Kanye West lately, although I guess this isn’t as bad as interrupting an award winner’s moment at the podium. It seems like no one’s heard of the old saying: If you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all.

It sounds like little Harlow Madden takes after her mother- LOL. Nicole Richie, who has her own fashion line, says her daughter is pretty particular about what she wears every day.

“She picks her own clothes. It’s a 20-minute thing – it begins at 7.30am each morning – but it is what it is, and it’s fine.”

That’s a great attitude to have, but I can’t imagine having to add 20 minutes to the morning schedule! Nicole sounds like a very patient mother; good for her.

Do you remember being particular about what you wore as a child? Or do you have a kid who has very specific ideas about what she or he will wear? It can certainly make the mornings entertaining

The song and music video for Radioactive, the first single off Kings of Leon’s new album Come Around Sundown, will premiere on Wednesday (Sept. 8).
